As part of its acknowledgement of the UK’s October Black History Month, ITV programmes a documentary that tries to pinpoint ‘Britishness’ and its application to Black Britons. Empire’s Child will be presented by popular journalist, Charlene White.


BAFTA has revealed that it pledges to improve diversity within its membership after the release of the results of its membership survey. Currently 37% for its members are women, 12.2% are from ‘BAME’ communities, 5.3% are disabled and 9.7% are LGBTQI+.
